Who we are

Hunting Bear LLC is a Tier 1 energy services company focused on the oil and gas needs of the Fort Berthold Reservation and set up to benefit the people and companies that work on and around the reservation. Owned by Helaman “Thor” Hale, of the Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara (MHA) Nation.

Hunting Bear was formed in 2017 and has the long-term goal of providing the highest level of service, integrity and results for oil and gas clients in the Bakken by working diligently for companies with similar high ideals. We also strive to preserve the culture, community, and future of those living and working on the Fort Berthold Reservation. Owning and working for an energy services company comes with the great responsibility of giving back to those living in the community we are serving.
